Cabinets and Vanities

Hampshire Craft LLC provides a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty for its cabinets and vanities, covering manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. This warranty applies to products used for residential purposes, is valid only within the continental United States, and is non-transferable. The warranty begins on the date of purchase, and proof of purchase is required for all claims.

Warranty Limitations:

To qualify for this warranty, all cabinets and accessories must be properly assembled and installed in accordance with standard industry practices for kitchen and bath professionals. This includes using the correct number of fasteners, ensuring proper clearances for cabinet doors and walkways, installing cabinets at appropriate heights from the finished flooring, and meeting local building code requirements.

Cabinets must be stored in a climate-controlled indoor environment, such as an insulated garage, storage unit, or home. Failure to properly install, store, or maintain the cabinets will void this warranty.

Warranty Exclusions(This warranty does not cover:)

  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, or exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  • Damage from water, steam, or improper cleaning methods.
  • Chips, dents, or scratches resulting from shipping or user handling.
  • Customer modifications, improper storage or installation, fire, smoke, acts of God, or exposure to harsh chemicals.
  • Dents, scratches, or missing components resulting from shipping should be addressed through Hampshire Craft’s damage claim policy.
  • Natural aging, color changes, or variations in wood grain, which are inherent to natural wood products.

Additional Limitations

  • Tolerances: Sizes may vary within standard tolerances due to wood’s natural expansion and contraction with humidity and temperature changes.
  • Load Ratings: Cabinets, shelves, and drawers are tested according to industry load standards and are not warranted for loads exceeding these ratings.
  • Wood Characteristics: As wood naturally absorbs and adjusts to moisture, maintaining a relative humidity of 40% in your home is recommended to reduce expansion and contraction.
  • Joint Visibility: Visible seams, cracks in joints, and natural wood variations are not considered defects.
  • Cabinet Finishes and Natural Variations
  • Cabinet finishes may vary due to wood species, lighting, aging, and hand-applied techniques like glazing. These variations are not considered defects. Additionally, natural wood will darken or lighten over time due to environmental factors, which is a natural process and not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Claims

Hampshire Craft LLC will determine whether to repair or replace defective products within the 2-year warranty period. Replacement items may differ from the original due to discontinued styles or materials. Only the defective components will be repaired or replaced.

Incidental and Consequential Damage

This warranty is void if cabinets are modified, improperly installed, or damaged during installation. Hampshire Craft LLC is not responsible for labor, installation, or incidental damages related to its products.
